| Two (sometimes written as 2WO) coincided (perhaps not so coincidentally) with Halford's "coming out" in early 1998. To a small-town, blue-collar kid who never had much interaction with openly gay people, I'm not sure which was more of a shocker, where Halford liked to stick his dick or his latest musical endeavors. Of course, his mere sexuality (which shouldn't have been all that surprising in hindsight) can't so much as smudge the majesty of the man's recorded legacy, but Voyeurs won't be remembered as one of his best moments. In fact, it likely isn't remembered at all by most people, and maybe that's for the best. This is kind of like a late-'90's update of Turbo, all drum loops and synths and weird, sampled noises. John 5 (known as plain old John Lowery here, but soon to become a part of the Manson Family) underwhelms, the emphasis being more on "sounds" rather than riffs. This album is 100% a product of its time and hasn't aged well at all, but contrary to popular belief it's not h

| ... It's not horrible. I like the rhythmic nature of some songs (the same quality I liked about some nu-metal), and Halford is in fine voice as always. But the music was such a hard left turn from what we were used to, most metalheads reacted immediately and negatively.
