THE Black Sabbath album for most people, kinda like their Led Zep IV. I listened to a lot of it WAY too many times to still enjoy it, but Hand of Doom still kicks my ass.

I agree that this is the Zeppelin IV for Sabbath, but with good reason. Everything on here, minus "Rat Salad" is classic. This is one of the ultimate metal albums and still sounds fresh compared to other rock releases from that era. 10/10

you know this site would not even be alive if it weren't for this band.Paranoid what can i say that hasn't already been said of this only that it's an out and out classic war pigs, paranoid electric funeral, faries wear boots and one of the all time great and timeless riffs iron man that riff still sounds fresh today 40 years on plain and simple if you don't like this album you don't like heavy metal

Another great album, love all the songs on here but admittedly skip Paranoid now due to over exposure, Planet Caravan is different, a dreamy song but one of my favourites, another must have!

probably the best SABBATH release that became a classic of rock music and from the first tunes you can realize the brilliance of their sound and especially those riffs that became their trademark!the musicianship is the finest, the songwriting is excellent and many classic songs are born!milestone of course
