The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Black Sabbath CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Black Sabbath are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Here's a great quote from Ian Gillian about this album: "I saw the cover and puked, then I heard the record and puked." With an album cover voted one of the worst ever, a horrible mix, and a lead singer few fans accepted as worthy to front Black Sabbath this album seemed destined to fail. But I love a lot of the songs here. Keep it Warm and Zero the Hero are my favorite tracks (listen to Zero the Hero and then to G&R's Paradise City). The remastered albums do improve on the sound quality.

Deep Sabbath?, Black Purple? either way this was a marriage made in hell. It just goes to show what stupid agreements we men make when drinking beer. A trult awful album, a truly naff tour (stone henge anyone?)and a mix that sounds like this record was recorded up a backside

La apuesta de reemplazar a Dio,con los pergaminos que este habìa legado,no era fàcil.Entonces Iommi opta por reclutar otro gigante como Gillan para este disco. Años màs tarde,considero que a Born Again no se le dio el crèdito merecido,porque es 100% Sabbath. La diferencia pasa por un sonido mucho màs denso que el de la època de Ronnie,aunque aquì no ayuda para nada la producciòn que le quita puntos al balance final.7/10.Igualmente un clàsico màs en el tiempo. carro_martin2000@yahoo.com.ar

This is heavy! I remember when this came out and it blew me away. The production is a bit naff but there are some killer cuts. Trashed, Disturbing the Priest and Hot Line.

For me and respecting people's opinions in here this is just a decent album that lacked of more enthusiasm in my very humble point of view..."Trashed" is the best cut in here and some other acceptable cuts are 5,6 & 8...70/100
