100 % complete thrashing bliss! From Skolnik's shredding to Chuck Billy's vocals,"The Legacy" resides on that exclusive list of thrash/speed metal royalty-alongside "Bonded By Blood","Reign In Blood","Forbidden Evil","Rust In Peace","Weapons Of Our Warfare"Eternal Nightmare" etc.Steve Souza of "Exodus" wrote alot of this when "Testament" were known as "Legacy".Boy id love to have some early demos of "Legacy" with Souza' on vox . ----

Nothing much to add to what Metal T said above. No self respecting thrash fan should be without this furious debut.

Great thrash debut. Over The Wall is one of their best tracks. Metallica who?

A classic album by all means!!!...the only time i have seen this act live was when they supported Anthrax during the Tour "Among The Living" in 1987(Chuck Billy & C.o had just released this debut) and basically they blew the whole Hammersmith Odeon(London-England)apart!!!..."Burnt Offerings" was the first song i've heard of them and got me into the band right away...tracks 1,2,4,7,8 6 9 are also killer ones!!!...the whole album is simply a dope...100/100
