Wonderful album. Early 90's heavy metal/speed metal that is delightful to listen. Great playing on all the musicians parts. Probably their best album to date. Great opener SUPPLICATION and others songs like THIS PRESENT DARKNESS, title track, FLESH AND BLOOD and 23. Buy this one if you like speed metal!!

'Weapons of our Warfare' is a speed metal classic that is, in my opinion, unbeaten by any other Deliverance CD! Almost every track on this disc is played with a fast and furious attitude and the song writing is outstanding. Songs like 'Slay the Wicked' are absolutely fierce. Jimmy Brown proving that he can sing, and scream, with the best of the power metal or speed metal genre. My personal favorite songs are 'This Present Darkness,' 'Flesh & Blood,' 'Slay the Wicked' and 'Greetings of Death'.

agressive, riveting, hammering, hard driving speed metal. Excellent album

More fantastic speed metal from the masters of the genre. Cool solo section of This Present Darkness where Jimmy and George trade solos. Solitude slays! Flesh and Blood has one of the coolest riffs ever written and also slays. Oh good grief, just get this one. It's AWESOME! Favorite tracks: This Present Darkness, Weapons of Our Warfare, Solitude, Flesh and Blood.

fantastic CD. sounds ( to me) like Classic Metal meets some fast and furoius Thrash, this one is easier found as KMG records re-issue nowadays, the riffs and the solos here are amazing. BUT I HAVE A QUESTION TO THIS SITE, WHERE ARE THE REVIEWS ABOUT WHAT A JOKE ? in any case...

From: Zze Date: October 16, 2003 at 22:01
OK this is not my review about WHAT A JOKE as this album is not listed here. WHAT A JOKE One of the Best D CDs as well, this is much more Thrash oriented than the previous 2 , but the production is weaker and the lyrics are lame. Sounds ( a lot ) like Anthrax of Amnong The Living meets Slayer´s Reign In Blood to me.

sorry I wrote it wrong , THE REVIEW ABOVE WAS ACTUALLY A WHAT A JOKE REVIEW. lol

Oh man, this album rocks! From the dueling solos of "This Present Darkness", the crushing riffs of "Weapons of Our Warfare", the 7:27 epic song that is "Flesh and Blood", and the blazing speed of "Greetings of Death", what's not to like about this album? Every song is blazing thrash metal with empowering lyrics and energizing music. That's what I love about Christian metal. If you don't have this CD, GET IT!!!

this is the first album by this band I've listened to and it's really grown on me. great thrash album and I like they are christian band. my faves: weapons of our warfare, solitude (like the solo very much), 23 and if we faint not.
