Very heavy late 80's speed metal (or thrash if you want to call it). This one's a classic and hard to find nowadays. I thought it was very formulaic, but its growing on me. A few good songs like DELIVERANCE, IF YOU WILL, VICTORY.

i was eithteen when this album came out ,and i was just getting into christian metal, and i still love these guys with the exception to the last few albums which i thought were not that great, but this one is cool, and i am very lucky to have a rare copy of there first one..nothing wrong with kicking ass in jesu`s name.lol

Arguably my favorite band and favorite album of all time! Jimmy Brown really knew how to write a riff in his speed metal days, and the man could sing and play! Really love the middle section of If You Will as it just rips along and then plunges back into the opening riff. YES! MUST HAVE! Favorite tracks: all of them!

Bands like Deliverance got a bad rap just cause they were a Christian band. Back in the day I would take them along with Believer and Tourniquet over any mainstream thrash group. This is what Metallica would have sounded like if Geoff Tate sang on Ride the Lighting. A perfect formula.

I wish I hadn't lost all of my C.D.s Deliverance (the first three) are the ones I lament losing most. The rest kind of suck

Oh man, this album rocks! There are a few songs on this CD that really remind me of Metallica. 'Blood of the Covenant' is like Battery meets The Four Horsemen, 'The Call' reminds me of Ride the Lightning, 'No Time' reminds me of the ending of Fade to Black with an opening riff similar to that of Ride the Lightning, etc. Every song is blazing thrash metal with empowering lyrics and energizing music. That's what I love about Christian metal. If you don't have this CD, GET IT!!!

Yup, this album is heavily influenced by Metallica, but when I first hear it back in '89 I was reminded more of Death Angel than Metallica. Regardless this CD remains one of my favorite speed metal discs ever. Guitarist Glenn Rogers, who played on this CD, was also the co-writer of much of the material on the first Vengeance CD and now plays in underground cult favorites Hirax.

Uff Deliverance! el mejor grupo Cristiano de Speed Metal de la historia, asi de claro. Clásico tras clásico "Victory" "No Time" "Deliverance"... Todo el album es un tralla. Ah por cierto, acá en Lima-Peru lo pasaban a este grupo en una radio local. INDISPENSABLE BUY OR DIE!!. 10/10
