This album is highly underated, and unfortunately is out-of-print. The opening track, "Reign of Fire", is a great way to get the listener's attention, and once it has you in its grasp, the album does not let you go.

This is one of my all-time favourite albums. Very underrated. I reccomend this one to everyone that loves good old fucking heavy metal with blazing guitars, powerful vocals and lots of melody. The Saint rules!

Memo to Metal Blade Records: Re-issue this damn thing on CD. IMMEDIATELY if not sooner.

The return of the Saint following the tragic death of guitarist Dave Pritchard. His spot is filled by original 2nd guitarist Phil Sandoval and former ODIN axeman Jeff Duncan. This album is a fitting tribute to Dave "Red" Pritchard, with all but 4 songs being penned by him before his death. This album is truly one of the Saint's finest. I picked up a sealed cd of it on ebay for $2.00

I just saw that this album will be reissued with a bonus disc, so Armored Saint fans rejoice

I forgot to mention I saw it on the Metal Blade website

The 3-CD (!) reissue of this album from Metal Blade is one of the nicest packages I've ever seen. Great to see MB giving an underrated masterpiece like this another shot at life!

The re-issue of this disc sounds kick ass! I also like the complete demo version, and the interview disc is cool too. A totally cool ,3 disc set, worth every penny. Its great to see some good music brought back to life....get this one!

Awesome comeback album, never thought I'd see a return after Pritchard's death (RIP). Reign of Fire, Symbol of Salvation, Last Train Home. Lots of good stuff on here, if you're a Saint fan this is well worth buying.

From: Rockhead Date: May 11, 2004 at 6:03

Hey Rockhead! What're you slumming over here? I like this site, kinda neglected but some good stuff anyhow...plus you think the grammar and spelling on HH is bad...this makes HH look like a Rhodes Scholar convention...

From: Axelinger Date: May 15, 2004 at 14:27
C'mon, Blue Charvel... Aren't you being a bit harsh on the masses here? They may be somewhat misguided, but wouldn't you agree that the most intelligent way to state one's preference for something is to blurt out that it "RULEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!"?

Hey Axe, I wuz 1dering were u wuz at (see, I'm learning the lingo!). Yes, you're right, there are times when that just says it all...specific, pinpointed, and best of all it has a lot of "Z"s, which is a terribly underused letter in our alphabet these days.

I picked this cd up at a popular dollar store chain here in the USA - MAN, WHAT A WASTE OF A DOLLAR!!!

From: SIXXSWINE Date: July 5, 2004 at 20:55
Metal Blade has recently reissued this disc as a three disc set. Pick that up if you're a fan of the band. You will thank yourself for it & it just makes you appreciate this record as well, as the band, that much more. 6\m/

Simply one of the finest Heavy Metal albums ever recorded!!!

Great disc! How good is the opening track, 'Reign of fire', driven by that sensational riff. One of the album highlights. 'Last train home' is a great rocker also... and I love the track 'Another day' - especially when it gets stuck into it with the full band. Killer track, great album. I like a lot.

From: hair metal again Date: February 7, 2019 at 10:58
very good release for ARMORED SAINT with a slightly updated sound &approach but without losing their trademard with great guitar riffs and howling vocals!"reign of fear","last train home" ,"dropping like flies" and "symbol of salvation" are the highlights!

From: Metal T Date: December 24, 2019 at 9:21
Always liked the band, but could never stand the singer-the vox & delivery of one John Bush were always the dealbreaker for me.
